Testimony

"The Faith and Family Centre has made a real difference to my life. The on-going formation available through the centre has deepened my faith and enriched my sense of vocation as a husband and father. Our whole family has benefited from this journey."

What we do

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd: A Montessori based religious formation programme for children ages 3-9.

Challenge/Conquest: Clubs and camps for girls and boys ages 10-16 to grow in virtue, friendship and their faith.

Courses/Talks: Practical, interesting and relevant talks that explore our Catholic Faith.

Encounter with Christ: Weekly meetings with others to pray, read and reflect on the Gospel and discuss ways to live out its message.

Evenings of Reflection: Once a month we offer an Evening of Reflection for men and women. Take some time out and reflect on God’s nearness to us.

Family Days: Families celebrating our Catholic Faith together through prayer, fun and activities linked to the liturgical year.

Holy Hour: Opportunities in the Centre to adore the Holy Eucharist.

Kids 4 Jesus: K4J is a monthly activity led by parents that helps children live out Christian virtue in a fun, memorable and dynamic way. The programme is available for families, parishes and schools. We offer a K4J club and summer camp for children ages 4-10.

Marriage Enrichment Day: A day that will re-energize one’s marriage, with a renewal of marriage vows.

Mum’s Night out: A well - deserved chance to enjoy a good movie or just chat over dessert with other mothers.

Parent & Toddler Group: Join us for a good cup of coffee (or tea) and the opportunity to meet with other parents while your children play, ending with a simple prayer for the family.

Pilgrim Queen of the Family: This is a simple way to invite families, friends, parishioners, colleagues – anyone in fact – to pray the Rosary together around an image of our Blessed Mother.

Pilgrimages: These pilgrimages are an excellent opportunity to pray and enrich our faith by going to places of pilgrimage tradition such as: Rome, Holy Land & Knock - Croagh Patrick.

Retreats: Reflective and silent retreats based on the scripture enriching one’s personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Spiritual Guidance: Priests and consecrated women are available to accompany you on your spiritual journey, especially in your prayer life and living of the virtues.
